This is a growing resource for people who work in the Drug Detox and Rehab industry and for people who are facing a substance abuse problem in themselves or a loved one. There will also be an area for those who are in recovery from substance abuse and addiction and want to share their insights and experiences.

While it may not be real to expect that a former abuser can ever become totally free of all the effects of having been addicted, to say that addiction is completely incurable or “once an addict, always an addict” is not only easily proved false, but it ignores the thousands of FORMER addicts walking around in society today.
I am one of those former addicts…sober for 34 years-and loving it.
